What Happens If You Get Stabbed By A Rusty Nail?

Hi!

The house is being redecorated and someone left a cable with the cable grip and the boom loose. I stepped on it by accident. The boom isn't rusty or anything and information technology upon shut inspection , I cannot encounter any blood on information technology :zomg: Nevertheless I was bleeding quite a bit from my foot.

Exercise I need a tetanus or anything?

Well I went on holiday a few years agone and information technology seems I may have had the Tetanus booster for that trip so there is a eight/x chance that I have had a Tetanus shot in the concluding ten years.

Sorry about that, just killing the myth of "Rusty Nails", when it is infact ANY deep puncture into the flesh.

Advice: Consult NHS direct, or visit you local GP. Because if you were puncutred into the mankind, information technology may be likely that the bacteria have gotten in aswell.

If you do end up going to hospital, they'll inject yous with Tetanus anti-bodies.

If you don't get to the doctor or infirmary and yous do have tetanus, you would probably loose your foot.

And then accept my advice and call NHS direct, and go to A&East immediatly.

Whatever puncture wound into the body is likely to cause Tetanus as the leaner are both on the skin and on the device that caused the puncture.

And then alike, both a "rusty" blast and a non "rusty" smash can both crusade Tetanus, the Rusty nail will not cause Tetanus, just considering it is rusty.

Please practise take my communication, since many people seem to behold the "Rust Myth".

ANY deep puncture wound is likely to have introduced the Tetanus causing bacteria. If you practice go to infirmary, they should give you Tetanus antibodies in the form of an injection immediatly. Whether or not y'all had your booster shots.

dude, can't believe someone repped this - if bleeding fabricated all rust/bacteria/etc 'flow out' of a wound then practically no wound would ever get infected!
